Lazy Sunday

It’s not often right now that I get any time to spend at home.  It is usually dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home, to only crawl in bed get a few hours sleep, if I can even sleep, and then back up and to work again…..this goes on 7 days a week.

So today, today I had to take a “me time” day.  A lazy Sunday to hang out at home and do things that I’ve not been able to do lately, which you’d be surprised at home much fun chores can be.  Never thought I’d say something like that.

We all need “me time”.
Lazy Sundays.
Time for ourselves.
Always make sure you take time for you.

As we grow up there are things that we start facing and having to deal with that run a range of degrees.  Some are happy some are not so happy and some run in between. Things such as school, jobs, relationships, marriages, families, life and death.  It’s in dealing with these day to day life experiences  and how we deal with them that continue to shape us in the people we are every day continuously growing in to.

Each day when we wake up we do not know what may happen in our lives that may change us forever.  Knowing this we all tend to get so wrapped up in our day to day lives and the stresses that may be weighing on us to take the time to stop and just breathe…..to appreciate our surroundings and the people in our lives that we take for granted and that can be taken away from us in the blink of an eye.

Take the time to appreciate life’s beauty……to appreciate your loved ones and to make sure that they know each and every day how much they mean to you.  Tell those you love that you love them, you never know if you may get another opportunity to do so.
