Back in the Swing

Seems like RL keeps wanting to sneak in and take over any of my free time over the last many months.  So in case anyone might have noticed I’ve been MIA a lot lately this would be the reason, but chances are most probably didn’t even know I was gone….haha

I’ve had a chance to actually take a couple days off work this weekend (after working 60 to 70 hours a week 6 to 7 days a week over the past 9 months) and got a chance to recharge some and remember what it’s like to actually do things that don’t involve work.  My house and my refrigerator are both extremely grateful, believe me.  I even got a tiny bit of a sunburn!…the sun really does not like us redhead’s that much…LOL

Step Back & Recharge

Sometimes we get to a point that we just feel empty.  The life stresses of jobs and bills and people in our lives just drain us to the point that we just feel there is nothing left inside us.  During those times it’s good to step back, get away from things and take time for ourselves to recharge.

Getting away,
taking time for ourselves,
and getting back the clarity
that we need to deal with the day to day of our lives.
It’s good to take time to recharge….for all of us.

Lazy Sunday

It’s not often right now that I get any time to spend at home.  It is usually dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home, to only crawl in bed get a few hours sleep, if I can even sleep, and then back up and to work again…..this goes on 7 days a week.

So today, today I had to take a “me time” day.  A lazy Sunday to hang out at home and do things that I’ve not been able to do lately, which you’d be surprised at home much fun chores can be.  Never thought I’d say something like that.

We all need “me time”.
Lazy Sundays.
Time for ourselves.
